Contract
Your reservation constitutes a binding agreement between Orama ("we", "us", "our", "management") and the person named on the reservation ("you", "your", "reservation holder"). Reservations are not transferable to any other person. The reservation holder and/or those listed in the reservation must occupy the reserved accommodation for the full duration of the stay. The reservation holder is responsible for the conduct and actions of all occupants and visitors associated with the booking.
Orama reserves the right to cancel a reservation without refund if the booked accommodation is no longer occupied by the people listed in the reservation.
Pricing
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST). All payments are processed in NZD.
Cancellation Policy
More than 10 days' notice: You will receive a full refund of any amount already paid.
Less than 10 days' notice: No refund will be issued unless under exceptional circumstances (at our discretion), or if we are able to rebook the accommodation for the same dates. In the case of a replacement booking, only the nights successfully rebooked will be refunded at the per-night rate.
Transport disruption: If sea or air transport is cancelled, please seek alternative travel options. In rare instances of extreme weather where both sea and air transport are suspended, we encourage you to reschedule your booking.
Early departure: No refund is available for early check-out.
Check-In / Check-Out
Office Hours
Our office is open from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. On weekends, a Duty Manager is on call—contact details are posted weekly on the reception door.
Arriving Outside Office Hours
If you arrive outside our office hours, you will need to self check-in. Your keys and welcome pack will be left on the table in the box outside the main reception. A map to your accommodation is included in the pack.
Check-In Times
From 2:00 PM for all accommodations
From 12:00 PM for campsites
Check-Out Times
By 10:00 AM for both accommodation and campsites
Please return your keys to reception when checking out. If reception is unattended, use the post slot at the reception window to return your keys.
You're welcome to enjoy our facilities after check-out. Luggage storage is available at reception. Note: Early check-in or late check-out is not available during our High Season.
Guest Conduct
Orama is a family-friendly environment. We expect all guests and visitors to behave respectfully and considerately toward others. Management reserves the right to terminate any reservation without refund if guest behavior is deemed inappropriate or if Site Rules are violated. Please refer to our Site Rules for more information.
Cleaning & Damages
Additional cleaning charges may apply if the accommodation is not left in a reasonable condition. Dishwashing is not included in your room rate and may incur extra fees.
Please report any breakages or damage to Orama reception. We reserve the right to recover the cost of repairs or replacements. Refer to our Site Rules for further details on topics such as smoking, alcohol, drugs, rubbish disposal, visitor conduct, parking, electricity usage, and more.
